The Nook is a small kiosk space that provides a place of comfort for students to relax, vibe, socialize, and just to have fun playing a game while they rejuvenate and energize themselves with a warm can of coffee. The purpose of this project was to create a small kiosk space that could be seen as a point of presence that could be implemented on campus and focused on benefiting the student community in some way. The Nook’s mission isn’t to cure mental health, but to just provide students a way to moderate and balance their school or work life and promote self care by taking a break and to remind people that it’s okay to have some fun and not burn yourself out with only work
